Affiliate Disclosure
We may earn a commission when you buy through our links. This doesn't affect our rankings.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Our relationship with retailers
Consumers Guidance contains affiliate links to Amazon and other retailers, including official product stores. If you click a qualifying link and make a purchase, we may receive compensation from that retailer or its affiliate program. This is a material financial relationship, which we disclose so you can evaluate our recommendations with that knowledge.
How we disclose affiliate links
We place a short disclosure in comparison introductions, provide an Advertiser Disclosure link at the top of every page, and include a disclosure in the footer. Buying buttons take you to the named retailer. Links are marked as sponsored for search engines.
Our editorial approach
Our comparisons are based on published product information and clearly stated editorial criteria. We do not claim personal hands-on testing. Commission rates do not determine the scores. We include meaningful disadvantages and flag missing or incorrect product information rather than inventing facts.
Purchasing through a retailer
Retailers—not Consumers Guidance—set prices, process orders, and determine shipping, returns, and warranties. We do not display Amazon prices or customer star ratings. Always check the exact product, current terms, and availability at the retailer before buying.
Click measurement and privacy
Affiliate buying links create a local affiliate_click event containing the product name, rank, guide, and button position. This measurement happens in your browser and is not used to build advertising profiles. Retailers have their own privacy policies.
